Hormone Balancing Cookie Dough Bites

I love these little protein bites because they taste like a chocolate chip cookie, they give me energy, they help balance my hormones, AND they have protein. Maybe all snacks should meet this requirement?? (just sayin!)


These are great pre-workout, post-workout, as a road trip snack (since that seems to be when we ALL need energy and more protein), or any other time you want a guilt-free bite of "cookie dough"!



Recipe:

2 cups quick oats

1/2 cup pure maple syrup

1/3 cup almond butter (Revival is my favorite!)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 cup chia seeds

1 tsp maca root powder

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

1/2 tsp salt

2 scoops unsweetened protein powder (I use this one)


Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer, food processor, or large mixing bowl

  2. Chill for 30 minutes, then roll into 20 equal bites
